I began to play World of Warcraft a couple of years ago as I was interested by how much media attention the game was getting.  I am sure you have heard many stories about players who have played for days on end with no sleep, before collapsing!  A game with players this addicted is definitely worth checking out.  I have played many other MMORPGs and must say that WoW is still the best.

One of the issues I initially had with World of Warcraft was the difficulty of the game.  I guess that is what adds to the challenge and fun, but it is not that easy to go from level 1 to capping out.  Reaching the max level can require a great deal of dedication and hours logged.

Although World of Warcraft may start off relatively easy, playing the game for a while will reveal just how tough the game can be.  The following will provide you with some great tips and tricks in order to help you reach the level cap as a Horde player.

The first thing to consider is that equipment in your earlier levels is not that important.  You can max out your levels without great gear like weapons and armour.  Focus more on leveling as opposed to finding great gear, as you will easily outrank the gear you obtain while leveling.

WoW is much different than the old school test based RPG games that I played as a child.  With so many players who subscribe from around the globe, you should remember that the game does not ever truly end.  Nothing is completely finished, as you will always have better gear to find, other classes to play, and countless other activities that the game provides in order to keep subscribers plugged in every month.

So if your goal is to level as quickly as possible, I would recommend finding a quality World of Warcraft Horde Guide or World of Warcraft Alliance Guide.  There are a good deal of guides out there, but one of the best is Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide.  The guide has been around for some time and was created by power leveler, finding the quickest methods to reach the level cap.

The best things to do to level quickly is quest as much as you can, especially at the lower levels.  Early quests are fairly easy to complete and reaching level 10 can be done within your starting zone.  You should continue to quest to around level 30 or so before considering other activities such as instances and so on.

One more thing to remember is to pick up as many quests as you can at once.  It is a big mistake not to accept every quest you can, so long as they are within reasonable proximity.  You can hold 25 quests in your quest log, i recommend filling your log up, especially since many quests can be done at the same time.  This will maximize your time and XP.

There are plenty of online resources such as Thotbot and WoWHead that have information on quests and instances.  However, it can be quite time consuming and annoying to have to go back and forth between the game and webpage.
