This guide is by far my favorite leveling guide for World of Warcraft. John Cooke (the creator of this guide) has put together an excellent guide that is both highly helpful and easy to use. Zygor guides are currently advertised with a leveling speed of under 7 days from start to capping out. If you follow the guide exactly, from my experience, leveling can be done in under a week.
If you are deligent and highly motivated, you should be able to beat the advertised time pretty easily. If you already have a full heirloom armor/weapon set, than that time can be crushed! That being said, here is a general overview on how Zygor’s Guides work.
One of the best things I liked about this guide is the full integration with the World of Warcraft software. You will no longer have to switch between the game and a website or PDF, or even an in-game map. The guide will show up as a small window on your main screen while playing. The window can be customized to be bigger or smaller with opacity levels as well. Very slick implementation of the guide in my opinion. The window will show you exactly where you need to go and what objectives must be completed along with the progress of your quests.
With the addition of the in-game helper to World of Warcraft, you be asking how Zygor’s guide is better. While the in-game quest helper may show you the destination of your quests, Zygor’s guide shows you the optimal path you should be taking in order to complete all of your quests in the shortest amount of time. It will tell you which quests to pick up, along with the where and how to complete the quests.
Below is a screenshot of Zygor’s Guide in action. You can clearly see all of the details and guidelines provided in the steps. The destination arrow can also be moved anywhere you would like on the screen. The guide also provides a small picture of the target you should be looking for.
After completion of quests, the guide automatically moves on to the next step for you. Everything about the guide has been automated and integrates seamlessly with the game, which I will delve deeper into.
The best features of this guide are its automation. As you progress through levels and quests, the guide will automatically move on to the next step or quest. Every now and again, you may have to manually click through to the next quest as there are a few bugs. However, the number of times I have had to do this were very few. The guide is just like having someone providing great advice on what quests to pick up, where to go to complete them, what items or mobs you should be looking for. It is all laid out for you in a very easy to understand manner. Even the waypoints are set for you automatically. Also included are the distance and time it will take to reach your destination. All you have to do is follow the direction the arrow is pointing and you are good to go.
Another great feature with Zygor’s Guides is that everything is saved for your. Once you log on to your WoW server, all your quest status is right where you left it the last time.
Even if you are jumping into the guide at some mid level, you can simply scroll through the guide and find the appropriate quest you would like to start off with. It is recommended that you start the guide a couple of levels below what is recommended. This will allow you to start the chain quests which may be associated with the zone you are questing in.
The guide is also updated on a regular basis so you will not have to worry about future updates or expansions not being compatible with the guide.

As a player who has used several leveling guides, Zygor’s Guides are the guides to go with. They are easy to use, and make leveling a breeze. With all the needed information being provided for you right on your main screen, I have become quite spoiled with my leveling experience. Whether you are new to WoW or a long time veteran like myself, leveling can be quite tedious and take the fun out of the game. Zygor’s guides have definitely helped renew my vigor for playing WoW as I try to level every type of class/race possible.
